    Top honour for Anglican doctor

    The first time Dr. Stephen Foster put in a pacemaker, he didn’t know how to turn it on.

    The Hamilton doctor working in Angola had to call an American colleague to ask him how to get it started. But that’s business as usual for Foster, who has just won a major humanitarian award for his work at the African hospital he runs.
